Des Moines, IA – Hawkeye Care Centers has launched a new refreshed brand image, website and messaging to create more awareness about the organization’s 40 year history in senior care and retirement living. Hawkeye enlisted Bild & Company’s marketing expertise to help them emphasize their high quality of care, dedicated close-knit family spirit and “hands-on” approach through original imagery and real stories.
Originally established as nursing homes in 1976, Hawkeye Care Centers have evolved into Continuum Care Retirement Communities, as well as individual centers that provide different levels of care: from independent to assisted living, to rehabilitation, to skilled nursing, memory and long-term care. Today Hawkeye has 10 exceptional Care Centers throughout Iowa and employs more than 1,000 team members.
Bild & Company’s Chief Branding Officer, Jennifer Ruyle, spearheaded the rebranding project with a focus on stronger messaging that would resonate with families looking for trusted care for their loved ones.
“The tagline, ‘Where You Belong’ really embodies the home-grown feel of the company along with emphasizing the family style approach Hawkeye takes with every resident,” Ruyle said.
The brand initiative includes a new fully mobile optimized website ( www.hawkeyecare.com ), which makes it easy for the user to find a community and learn more. One area of the site features “Stories from the Heartland” showcasing the residents and their unique life stories and backgrounds. The Stories from the Heartland offer potential residents and their families insight into the devotion and positive experiences at each community.
