Social Media Case Study: Westhampton Care Center

The Situation

Westhampton Care Center (WHCC) is a 5-star government rated skilled nursing community that is committed to meeting residents’ needs from rehab services to dementia care. After the Bild & Co Marketing Team refreshed the community’s website, the area of opportunity was to improve their online presence by integrating the new site with social media.

The Bild Approach

As part of the Bild Social Media Strategy we presented a Facebook advertising campaign designed to increase online inquires by driving traffic to Westhampton’s website, specifically to land on the contact page. The campaign was set to reach a highly targeted audience, particularly users (the adult child) and/or family members searching for senior living communities around the Long Island area on Facebook.

  • Three mock ads were designed each consisting of a different image that reflect the look and feel of the community and each keeping a consistent link back to the contact form on the website
  • Discussed granular targeting details with the Executive Director of Westhampton Care Center; gathering keywords and research additional words to define exactly to whom the ad will reach. (Note: The ads below are mock-ups therefore all demographics were not listed to this version)

The Results

  • Website click campaign ran from November 14th, 2014 thru February 10th, 2015. Ad was seen over 61,000 times but most importantly the ad was clicked 1,076 times from targeted audience

  • Since January 2015 – present, there have been 164 new leads through the new website with help from social media integration
